Dear SteemIt reader 👋,

That's also a notion I didn't have when starting. Someone came up to me a year after I left the idea of "home" and said "Oh, you're a digital nomad!". Now it's just a hipster buzzword that got more popular than holidays 😅
I'm still looking forward to open the idea of reinventing the decentralized (!) office throughout various types of works. But that's a whole different topic I guess 💭

I also hate how the idea of DM gives people the idea to cash in . Some of these Coworking places are so expensive. If you like take a look at an idea about a non profit coworking place for steemians and guest DM: https://steemit.com/travelfeed/@for91days/we-have-a-dream-a-steemit-coworking-network-around-the-world

If we have the community it could be self financed even and free for Steemians and guests would have to pay a fair price and not 15 Euros per day.

That's really funny you had written something like that as we were starting an alternative to coworking with people from France and Austria.
As I didn't know SteemIt by then (I'm very noob here!), I was starting to implement a new platform in cooperation with these guyz. The point is not profit, but reinventing the work in parallel to what already exists: that's the part I mention "transforming homes into collaborative spaces" in this introduce yourself article.
Eventually we should talk about that further somewhere if you feel like actually putting the idea in place ;)
