Hello Steemit community!
Today I pulled the trigger on a new way to invest in my life. One of my sons has been encouraging me to do this for quite some time and today I crossed the finish line and claimed my prize. I am part of the Steemit family!
My name is Vonabell Sherman and when I am not learning about cryptocurrency you can watch me on TV.
I am a TV Host, spokesperson and broadcast media professional. Since 2001 that has included presenting a wide variety of home and family products to 97 million people on HSN (Home Shopping Network). My efforts have produced over 900 million dollars in sales for my valued clients. I have crafted and executed hundreds of successful demonstrations and had fun while doing it.
One of my favorite and most successful products that I've demoed on HSN was the Snuggie, the blanket with sleeves!
National ads, magazines, and commercials - I have had the pleasure of participating in all of them and recently I co-hosted a web show with the original shark on Shark Tank, Kevin Harrington. Yes, he is a nice guy!
New York is where I grew up and began my show business career. Now, for nearly two decades, the Sunshine State is where I call home. I've appeared in national ads, magazines, and commercials since I was 13 years old.
HSN's slogan is, "It's fun here!" I hope to bring the same sentiment to the Steemit community.

We have a problem where people pretend to be celebrities, and get a lot of upvotes under false pretenses.
Obviously thats not fair on the community or the person being imitated.
You'll get a much warmer reception if you can verify that you're actually you.
A tweet from your verified Twitter, or a photo of yourself holding a piece of paper with 'vonabell' and 'steemit' written on it, would do the trick nicely.

My son (one of my three sons) told me about Steemit. And Bitcoin too .If I had listened to him in 2011 I'd be a millionaire! He is on Steem too, as well as his GF. He thought Steemians would find what I do interesting, so he encourage me to join .

It's definitely interesting work. I'll be following your stories. And, yeah, it can be a tough pill to swallow, but back then, not many people understood how bitcoin or digital currency would impact society. Welcome to the community! I think you'll find STEEMit fun and possibly addicting...? =) Not sure if you or someone else put your content together, but Markdown is pretty easy to pickup and I prefer it over the WYSIWYG editors. Does everyone at the HSN studio have a STEEMit account?

You will have to translate for me. I think I might be the only on air talent going rogue. Social media is def encouraged but that means we all have FB pages.. mine is Vonabell Sherman on HSN. Hi @vonabell, there's a markdown tutorial here: https://www.markdowntutorial.com/. Most README documents for development projects are written in it because it is easy to it read both formatted and in plain text. WYSIWYG means What You See Is What You Get. Typically, the content editor in Wordpress is WYSIWYG. The problem with WYSIWYG editors is that they don't always behave as you would expect.
Btw, you should bookmark https://steemd.com/@vonabell if you haven't yet. Good way to keep tabs on the meta attached to your account (voting percent, likes, comments etc.).

The more I learn the more I thing this whole Steemit could be a full time job and I have one of those!!
