Hi Everybody we're Steeming it!

I just posted a video blog a few days ago on Steemit and thought it might be good to make it official and introduce myself to the Steemit community. That video post is something I am very familiar with due to my being a salesperson for many years. I am outgoing and have a zeal for life and like to share my experiences with others. My natural outgoing personality lends itself to the subject of my 1st post on Steemit "5 Sales Points to Remember" and I hope you will look up the 4-minute video and watch it.

From my initial look around, Steemit is a community full of wonderful and interesting people. I think I will like that most about this platform. My wife of 43 years is still my High School Sweetheart and we were not supposed to last this long. So many who get married at 18 years old don't last. We were just made for one another. We are two very different people but our personalities compliment each other. We have three great children and four grandchildren. Our love affair started during the hippie years of the early 70's. You might say that we grew up together and became friends first and then lovers.

I've been an Advertising Executive for the last 30 years. I currently own and operate an Advertising Agency called New Day Media, in Tulsa OK and love my work helping small to medium businesses market their companies. Before finding my career marketing and advertising I was a salesman holding various positions in both retail sales and direct marketing. As a construction worker in my early twenties, I sold work shoes to my buddies at the job site. During breaks or after work I used a paper and printed catalog to show my products and the guys would pay and order right there on the site. That's the way it was done before the internet.

Recently I have gotten very interested in Cryptocurrencies and I am learning about all the wonderful benefits that are going to be derived from this new technology. The entire concept is so interesting to me and I am having the time of my life learning how it all works. Although I am successful and have been blessed to travel and do things that most of our earth's population have never had the opportunity to experience, there have been some ups and downs along the way. My retirement years are not looking as promising it did at one time. So when I discovered this new emerging technology and the promise of the future benefits to the entire global community, I knew that there would be opportunities to succeed in the space. I have lived to see many technological opportunities come and go over the years but missed them not realizing the fundamental way the technology would change the way we live.

Although I was in business in the late 90's managing my client's traditional advertising budgets and building and hosting websites, I did not really understand the changes that were taking place. Everything fundamentally changed and millions were made by those who got in early and developed solutions using the client-server protocol and technology. Today we have entered a new phase of applicational technology that will completely change what we are doing on the internet. This time I get it. Blockchain technology is set to change everything. So folks hold on to your seats and let's all prosper together. There is more room than ever for people in every part of the world to benefit from this revolution and I am more excited than ever for the possibilities. You and I are on Steemit and that says something about you and me. We are just the start of this big change.
