Western Riders on Steem !! Epic highline action on Steem!

Hello Steemians!!

(Let's start by pointing that im a big newb around here, mistakes can happen, and your help is very welcome!)

Introductions now!!

We are a group of 4 friends that share a passion, Slackline, mostly the most extreme version of it, Highline!

Slacklining refers to the act of walking or balancing along a suspended length of flat webbing that is tensioned between two anchors. Highlining refers to the same thing but higher above the ground.

Altough is starting to get some attention and being known around the world, we live in Portugal, and around here we're the only ones doin it.. pretty small community heh?! ;)

We have started the team mainly to try to get the sport better known, to get autorizations and overall support to keep doin it, but also because we normally produce really nice videos and photos about our sport and we love to share our passion and way of life with the world.

Why Western Riders? Well, one of the biggest dreams of José was to rig one line in the westernmost point of Europe, Cabo da Roca in Portugal, he did it a couple of years after he started highlining, and the line was called the Western Rider (normally a "slacker" is called a rider), when we were thinking about the team name, we tought its a really nice name and it is where so many times we are since we live close to Cabo da Roca.

We have made some pretty epic stuff so far, im curious to see what you'll think of it, just wait for it..

Claudio and José met PePe one day in Cabo da Roca, he saw the line, he went there, talked to us, and since then he's been around all the times, much younger that the rest of the team, its a bit of the mascot of the group, always full of energy and making jokes, as a kid would do ;) Pepe is also a professional firefighter, and we were really proud of him after we got the news that he got in!

Last but not the least, Emerson, the machine!
Emerson is brazilian, living in Portugal, we met him in the beggining of his highline passion, and oh men, this guy is a machine! Emerson is definitly a natural talent for Highline, the performer of the team, he can always make a show while he is on a line. Apart from that, a really great friend and a really great person, always inspiring to look at him rocking on the lines!

We also love to live outdoors, we call it the gipsy live, camping, making fires, enjoying the million star hotel nature provides us, Highlining has been a great way to rediscover life.
