Well, as I got through the worst part - I'm going to tell you few words about myself, what I do and why have I chosen Steemit.
When I was a child I was the only Sophie I knew. That was a thing, that made me special. Well - I thought it was. But then I grow up and found out that my name is not that unique and it doesn't make me special at all. So I made my decision - I want to become truly interesting person.
Discovering myself and my place in such fascinating world became one of my favorite activities. I was interested in everything, from flagstone to the meaning of the universe 😉
And I'm still like that.
I'm not special because of one particular thing I'm doing. I will never be as good as my masters in any field (it doesn't mean I won't do my best!)
But... I think I'm intersting enough to introduce myself in the Internet. Why? Because my field of interest is very wide.
I study polish philology, logopedics (as specialization) and art history. I'm member of Science Club of Romantics and editorial staff of the journal Adeste (http://adeste.eu).
I've got band, in which I play, sing and create - lyrics and music.
I'm writing my first book, probably I will share its parts here, on Steemit.
I draw, illustrate and make logos.
I also like performing on stage, directing, photographing, traveling, riding a bike, discussing and meditating.

After all these superlatives I must to tell again that I am just an amateur and I will probably never be able to call myself "professional".
I'm developing my interests on my own, so I hope you'll forgive me all the shortcomings and imperfections in the content I publish. Especially in my English!
But still - I want to create.
And that's why I am here, on Steemit.

Yes Steemit supports creativity. If you are compensated then technically on is a professional. I knew many "professionals" that did not adhere to standards or care for those they provided for.
