Hello, people call me Zero. I am a philosophy teacher and i created this blog to talk about philosophy to non academic philosophers. Philosophy changed my life in a positive way and i wanna share with you guys, in a easy to read way, how you can apply philosophical concepts in your everyday life.

The first thing we need to talk about my page is that my content will NOT be self-help content. If that is what you are looking for, you will find no use for this page. I will be honest with you, in some posts (not every single one) i will tell you things about life that you will not be happy to read.

Also, english is not my main language so i am sorry if my writing is not good. If this is no problema for you, keep reading.

My intention here is not to make you feel good, my intention is to make you understand and question your own life and the way you are living. This process can bring some pain to the reader, but don't worry, pain is a very important part of being alive, don't run away from it.

In this first post i will talk a little about myself, so you can know about the person on the other side of the screen.

“But hey, i don't care about who you are!”

Dude, i am using this hashtag #introducemyself in the post, i need to talk about it or my post will be flagged for false content.

“Ohh, ok, i will read”

Thanks.

I am what some people call “Invisible Person”. What is that?Invisible person is someone that is so irrelevant to the environment in which that person lives that other people don't even realise that person existence. For some people that is a real problem, for me is a bless.

I made myself this way, took me years to reach this goal, but i finally did it.

But i wanna be ignored?

I believe you need peace in life to be happy and also peace to be able to think from an outside perspective, that's the reason why i chose the invisibility, to find peace.

But it is not only me that is invisible, i live in rural area of a place in the south of the south america region. Probably an invisible place for you. How many times you heard any news from the south of the south america? How many times you heard ANYTHING about south america?

The truth is that south america (SA) is a very unknown place, nothing exciting happens here.

“But hey, i heard something about drug dealers”

Yes, there is that.

However this only occurs in the north and the central region of SA. In the south of the south america nothing exciting ever happens. My guess is because that the south of the SA is so far away from the part of the world that buy drugs (USA + Europe) that it is not worth it to make production here because of the logistics.

But who knows.

The good thing is that i live a very chill life, the perfect life, i guess, for someone that who study philosophy.

Professionally, i am a philosophy teacher, at the moment i am studying to be a doctor in philosophy (i think this is called PHD is USA). Currently i am studying stoic philosophy (Epictetus/Marcus Aurelius/Seneca) but i also studied Aristotle, Wittgenstein and Russell in the past.I like a lot studying logic and metaphysics but currently i am working in an Ethics project (about stoic eudaimonistic way of life).

And now let's jump to a part that i like reading in other post of #introduceyourself, how i discovered Steemit.
I like a lot searching about new technologies and i discovered the blockchain tech because of the bitconnect meme guy. I saw the meme on reddit (very funny btw) and started to search what that was all about. My search revealed to me two things 1) that was a scam and 2) the blockchain technology.

So after that i went searching more about blockchain and i ended finding months later the Steemit word. And now here i am. So yeah, i got interested in this world because of a meme of a scammer cryptocurrency, but it is what it is. Came here for the meme, stayed for the tech. Unfortunatly, took me 15 days to be accepted here in Steemit.

Also i am very interested in the fish tank hobby, i plan to build one in the future. When i finally get the money to make this happen i will post here to share information about fishes and stuff.

Thanks for reading, have a nice day.

TL;DR: Invisible person from an invisible part of the world discovered steemit because of a meme. He works with philosophy and have a very chill and normal life. Also have some interests in games and fishes.

EDIT: Misspelled the title. Fixed

Welcome to Steemit, Zero. I like your being invisible and moreso your preferring it. I am in agreement with your assertion that life is not only about happiness. There must be two points of references in order for us to discern shades of difference. I have said for many years now that enlightenment is in fact a sad place when viewed through the eyes of the human being, that the only escape (for myself anyway) is to become a human doing.

Herman Hesse summed up perfectly in his book Siddartha, when he was with the Buddha. He said," The problem with your trying to teach is that you can't convey the experience with your words." Such a true statement as words can only point at a thing, not capture the thing.

I look forward to following your posts to see if I am capable of capturing what your words point at. May today find blessings you recognize for you and yours.

Hi, thanks for reading my introduction post and replying me =]
Never read Herman Hesse but sounds interesting.

Peace.
