It's so nice to be part of steemit—a good place to hold great writings. For me, steemit is also a great place to socialize, lots of interactions in it. In fact, we can also add new friends and sharing ideas to build a good community.

Introduce, my name is Zia Ulhaq. I am a student at a university in Indonesia, precisely in Aceh. I am the first child of 5 siblings. I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers. There are so many dreams I want to achieve, one of them is bring happiness to my family.

I am a person who has an introvert type. Perhaps, that's why I have been interested with literature world. I am a quiet person and would rather spend time alone than hanging out with friends. Therefore I am rarely found in public places. I have been an introvert since I went to high school. Unlike the other students who make a fuss with their friends. I just kept quiet. Sit in own classroom while contemplating. I really like to pay attention to the environment, all the other people's behavior and read their characters.

Although I am a person who have less sociable (introvert), but I really like the arts. Starting from playing music, dancing, even creating music (composer). Strangely, I felt confident when on stage or in public to showcase my artistic talent, but feel inferior when talking with other people, especially new people.

I have been dancing for three years (2013-2016). At that time I became the chairman of art community in my school, named "Sanggar Seni Pocut Baren". Maybe it is the first community that I joined and I felt comfortable in it. I learned a lot about dance. Equalize the movement with the tempo of the music being played.



The dance I mastered at the time was Rapai Geleng. It is an Acehnese traditional dance performed by 12-15 men (mostly) but there are also rarely presented by women. The dance is very energetic. Dancers are required to sit on their knees and shake their heads following a determined rhythm. Starting from slow, medium, fast, very fast and silent.

Not only dance, but I also joined the art community in the field of music. That is Beatbox. It is an art form that focuses on producing rhythmic sounds such as drum beats, instrument music and turntable. The resulting music is ejected through human speech utensils such as mouth, tongue, lips and throat. Beatbox is a unique art and also difficult because the beatbox player is required to practice for about a month to be able to mastering the basics in the beatbox. At that time, I joined ABC (Aceh Beatbox Community)—one of the best beatbox community in Infonesia.



Various championships I have won (dancing and beatbox). I can say that I am one of the best, but that identity doesn't make me as a greedy person. One year ago I stopped pursue both. I am sure, there is no other choice for someone who has been on top except down. Therefore I decided to stop
When I am still the best, let the next generation replacing my position.

Getting out of the comfort zone did not stopping me. I decided to pursue the field of writing. I learned from the works of great authors about how they wrote, what techniques were used and how the feelings that were wrought into his writing could be felt by the reader. The beginning of my journey to the field of writing begins with making quotations. I really like the quote, although the writing just a bit, the meaning contained in it can change the reader's feelings. I poured all my writing into the instagram. It turns out my works was succeed, one year I struggled until now able to collect a lot of followers. They really liked the quotes I made, until when some of my followers asked me to write a long story. Because the number of words provided by instagram is less length, then I switch to steemit.

Steemit is the best choice for me. Because the writers are able to publish his writings more broadly and longer. Not only that, new users like me make it possible to learn with seniors in steemit like how to write well, when is the best time to post and how to put the correct tags. I'm sure, steemit is not just a place to collect UPVOTE and SBD, but there are also kinship and social are bound to each other.
