Hello friends Steemians and Venezuelan community abroad.
For nobody is a secret the precarious and economic situation that Venezuela is experiencing, due to the bad government of Nicolás Maduro. I know that I am not the only Venezuelan who feels full of helplessness and without being able to do anything in the face of lack of control of prices, our sustenance, our food to be able to survive every time we are uphill.
It is incredible to see how many Venezuelans, the newly itinerant merchants have lost sensibility and have become miserable, without feeling remorse for hunger and despair, their interest is to take advantage of the situation, reselling foods with such high prices that even the minimum wage does not even cover a product of the basic basket.
I know that the situation is not easy for many merchants who have staff that pay them a monthly payment apart from the lease of premises, but many of these street vendors; the so-called bachaqueros, a plague that was unleashed by bad government policies that have been responsible for bleeding a whole town and have the support of the shameful National Guard, these bachaqueros who have no employees, or pay local, or permission municipal, because they are simply on the streets and have control over the little food that arrives in our country, they have no compassion for a father or a mother with children to feed, who go out to look for food with the fear that they reach what little they have in their pocket, a situation that often causes tears, because we do miracles with what little we earn, while we get weaker every day before this galloping inflation that every day takes us more to the abyss.
Many parents stop eating a mouthful of food to give to their young children, while others lie down on an empty stomach. What impotence I feel when I see children and the elderly looking in the trash for something to savor. We never imagined the Venezuelans that we were going to live in a situation as difficult as the one we are living. We never imagined it!
Thanks to the expropriations that Chavez began, to whom we owe largely the ruin of our country, many entrepreneurs had to leave Venezuela and over the years what remains are the stubble of that Venezuela where we had quality of life, that Venezuela where we were happy and we did not know it, that Venezuela that we now yearn for and that we do not lose the faith that we will one day recover.
Today, hurt at this situation and with all the news of Oscar Pérez's murder, I write because I have mixed feelings and I want to express them by writing.
A greeting friends, and I hope you understand this Venezuelan who suffers the effects of the collapse of his country, his beloved Venezuela
