I‘m MickyMack and I am a total noob to the Steemit community. Having only a cursory understanding of this medium, I became very intrigued when I sensed an opportunity to share thoughts and a healthy tête-à-tête with like minded (?) individuals. I do enjoy spirited discourse on a variety of topics like music, politics, spiritualism, health and healing, current events, entertainment/infotainmeant and so on. I’m a healthcare professional and sometime musician. Quickly approaching retirement, I’m looking forward to exploring new options far removed from the “rat race”.
I‘ve been trolling the WWW since the early days and remain completely fascinated by the wealth of information available to filter through. I sometimes get inundated with info overload because there‘s just soooooo very much to experience. My girlfriend has to peel me away at times! 🤣 One of the things that I believe I’m good at is coming up with really infectious grooves when playing my bass guitar. While I’m no Victor Wooten, I could hold down a phunky @$$ groove for him to play on top of! Just give me a beat and I’ll create something to fit it! I also enjoy writing song lyrics and have a knack for the Fagan/Becker type of wry content. Hey, maybe I’ll discover a colab partner here in the commune! I’m looking forward to connecting with the Steemit community and hopefully it will inspire me to come up with many many Steemy basslines for all to enjoy!
