Introducing myself: Chris, Traveler, Content Creator, and Consultant

Hello, community 💪,

it's been some time but I finally got my stuff together, verified my phone number, and got registered here. It's about time since I have seen so many join this place of a new concept social network. First... this is me pretty much everywhere on the internet for the past few years. I've not changed this avatar in years - maybe it's time #NoteToSelf.

So now you know my face. Well - many people tell me that I actually look nothing like my avatar in person, but for now, that's what you'll have to deal with. It's just another reminder for me that it's time to get a new avatar picture I guess 🙈.

Let's go to the more important stuff. I am a traveling the world, creating content (YouTube & Instagram), and I do consulting work for online businesses.

The past three years, I’ve been traveling from country to country, creating videos, connecting with all kinds of people. Living the digital nomad life. I’ve learned so much. I’ve struggled to share more with the world. Go deeper. But the last few moths have shown that I want to reorient myself. Open up more. Be more vulnerable.

This post is one of the first steps in that direction. I don’t know yet what this new platform will bring for me. I’m especially curious about d.tube as another alternative to YouTube. But I have to understand it all a bit better first. What’s being built here? How many people use this platform? How the community interacts?

It’s an exciting new time. I’m looking forward to learn something new and get my toes wet before I jump in full force.
