Introducing myself

Hello!

My name is Julie-Anne Gerber. I'm 21 years old and just graduated for Stellenbosch University with a degree in Actuarial Science (#superexciting). So I guess you can officially call me unemployed. I guess I have always been considered "intelligent", ever since High School, but I don't define myself by my academic abilities or achievements. I'm just another ordinary girl.

Over the last 3 years I've had a truly amazing experience at University. I'm learn so much about myself, met the love of my life and met friends that has taught me so much about life. While I was at University I stayed in a girls residence and for me (being a only child) this was extremely surreal, but in the end I can say I truly enjoyed experiencing the residence lifestyle and knowing there is always someone next door when you run out of milk.

I'm probably one of the most honest people I know, which isn't always a good thing. I usually speak my mind and that paired with my love of sarcasm doesn't always mix together. I don't really consider myself to be optimistic, but I'm not 100% pessimistic as well... I think I just have a very realistic outlook in life.

My hobbies include drawing. I love to draw!! It's one of my true passions in life. I'm definitely not claiming that I'm the next Leonardo da Vinci, but I just enjoy doing it. Even though I studied Actuarial Science I definitely still have an artistic side in me! I'm also the BIGGEST tea fanatic that you will ever meet. There is nothing that a good cup of tea can't solve! I'm also obsessed with make-up, fitness, and nutrition.

I've probably left out so many important details about myself, but I think I covered the basics. Otherwise this post will be WAY to long. I hope you enjoyed this post and the little peak inside my life. I am truly excited to be on Steemit and I have some interesting posts to come!!!
