Hello, steemiters and casual readers!
I’d like to tell you how I once was seeking some light reading, but ran into a refreshing spring of engaging, various, up-to-date scientific and publicistic articles written in the human language and vital style! I suppose you might’ve already guessed what I’m talking about… ;) But before I plunge into a description of the details how I got acquainted with Steemit, let me, please, tell you a few words about myself.
My name is Elvira, I’m a young freelance translator from Russia.
On weekdays I translate articles, reviews of Youtube-bloggers and letters for a dating agency, but on Sundays another part of me takes the reins of power into the hand and I rehearse with my rock band (Hell yeah!).
Apart from music I am also into Finnish and Scottish Gaelic, horror movies, Japanese literature, drawing and video games (a fan of TES and Dota 2 here).
It’s fair to say (and I hope you will agree), that I’m rather a versatile personality, and it takes ones best sometimes to impress me and catch my attention, BUT! Once my boyfriend offered me to translate an article for his acquaintance blogging on some website. I took on the job and only after the article had been published I decided to visit that site, maybe read something there… and from that day on the tab with Steemit is always open in my browser! :D
And there are plenty reasons for that. I’ve always tended to ask questions about everything I ever had interest of, like, “Wow! What an impressive “something”! I wonder how does it work?”. Yet, my interest isn’t very deep in every case, so I’d like to get a brief and summed up piece of information and that would be enough for me. In this regard Steemit is just perfect – articles are not too long to bore, but succinct enough to fully explore a topic, and the variety of topics lit up is simply the richest!
Hopefully, Steemit will go on pleasing me with its content, while I myself thank you for your kind attention and round up :) Bye!
