Welcome to steemit! Awesome Hugelkultur you got there! I'm planning on making one as well with all the branches I have around my yard. Just was never sure where to begin, where to put it, or how deep I'll have to dig.

Following you too. Hopefully your videos will inspire/motivate me to get one built. Living out here in arid and sandy Colorado, I could sure use some hugeling. :)

    I wish to express that while some people choose to put wood in the ground, i am a very strong advocate of building UP! So you would lay the sticks on the ground and bury that. And what you dug up, turns into a bit of a sunken path!
