Blogalogging

I've always wanted to blog but I don't ever feel like I have anything interesting to say or anything I feel so passionately about that I need to put it into words and post it somewhere for millions to see! I like to write but I usually only wind up writing for school or for work. School is me attempting to earn my Master's degree in Criminology at the age of 38. Just a little proof that it's never too late to follow your dreams.

Basically, I joined Steem to see how it works and where this whole thing would take me. I like to think I'm open to new ideas and since this seems like it could be a lucrative endeavor, then why the hell not. I'm still undecided about what I might share or write about. Should I focus on one topic or just jump all over the place?! I love animals, crafts, school, the dark side of humanity (more of a fascination). I will have to think about it and get back to you. Maybe I could use this as a forum to discuss things that bother me, even daily nuances that drive me up a wall because I have a dominant personality and think everyone should operate the same way I do. Perhaps I can explore the inner workings of my own mind and receive feedback from a community that isn't here to troll people. Did I mention I hate internet trolls?

There is so much going on in my mind at any given time, that it is hard to narrow down a focus. I also suffer from depression and anxiety, so my mind is always going going going even though I just want it to stop while I try and hide under the covers for a few hours. It's like being incredibly sleepy but wired from that cup of coffee you just drank. Needless to say, a very uncomfortable feeling.

I'm your average female, married, living in the Midwest (transplanted from NY not long ago) and trying to find things to occupy my mind because 8 hours of work and then a subsequent 4-5 hours per night of school work is not enough for me. I need more...I need to feed my brain.
