Welcome Billy! Good to see you here! It is a little different from other social media sites, so there can be a bit of a learning curve involved at first. You'll get the hang of it though I'm sure. After 4 posts in one day your rewards incur a penalty. This is to discourage spamming. How much rewards your upvotes bestow depends on your STEEM POWER and the current exchange rate. It is good to comment on others posts, and while you build a following comments can sometimes earn more than your posts. Happy Steeming!

okay. Do i have unlimited comments though?
Since I'm still in a sort of "slump" in producing new material everyday, I probably won't exceed 4 posts a day.
Also I'd like to make some "steemit exclusive" content, since... well.. it actually pays... so, it feels like i should do something special.

its really sad how they pay next to nothing. I'll remain there for now since its more accessable to a general public. But honestly, a site with cryptocurrency upvotes is clearly the way of the future. There are people making entertainment from home everyday who arent even trying to market themselves like me or others, and we all deserve to be rewarded for our service.
