New and Confuse. My introduction to steemit.

I feel like a fish out of water. My daughter has been talking to me about steemit for weeks. I finally decided to join. Sign in and had to wait for password, didn't get it for a few days. Finally found it ! It was in my phone and email for a few days. To my surprise I got the biggest password I have ever seen and told to save it. Very important not to lose it. I was a nervous wreck thinking of different places and ways to save this PASSWORD. It took me quite a while to accomplished this task. Finally I login to steemit, all excited and ready to go. To my surprise I'm having tremendous difficulty understanding, how to use this or create my profile page. As a grandmother of six , Who for some reason I'm computer challenge. This have made me realize if I want to be part of the future. I need to stop threading in shallow waters and just dive in head on. I hope my steemit group can keep me afloat if I start drowning. I'm sure you've realize written is not my forte, but that wont stop me. I' m from the U.S. Virgin Island and have live in the state for many years. The funniest thing happen to me . I was in a fam. party , and everyone assume I was visiting my brother from out of the United States. I kept saying I live about 20 min. from him. It finally hit me. It was my accent that had them thinking I had just come from the island. My brother doesn't sound like me. This was funny to me. I forget how I sound to new peop!e when they hear me talk for the first time. I told you this to give you a picture of my stubborn ways. I have been in the state for more than 22 years and I still sound like my brother that's in the Virgin Islands and I still feel like I'm in a foreign p!ace. STEEMIT have made me feel this way all over again. Will enough about me. My fingers have gotten knumb while typing these words. I hope to get help and please excuse my grammar. My daughter told me to write a long introduction and attach pictures. This as long as my fingers will let me write and I don't know how to attach pictures. If anyone that read this can post pic. ,that goes with my story and can send me any hints to make this experience easier. Please feel free to do so.
