Howdy!

Howdy folks! My name is Eddie and I’ve been lurking on this site enough to that it kicks ass and I need to be more involved, so here is my introduction post.

It all started back in January of 1979. It was the 3rd of January to be exact and it was a cold snowy day but in that little old hospital room in Parkersburg West Virginia a young soon to be mother was in too much pain to worry about how cold it was outside. After several hours of screaming and a whole lot of weird and awkward breathing the doctor finally decided to get off his ass and pull that baby out of that young soon to be mother…

Ok so I’m definitely not going to go through every detail of my life since birth so I’ll spare all of you the headache and make things a bit shorter. For starters my name is Eddie and I live in the mile high city of Denver Colorado. I have a beautiful wife named Sarrah(yep with 2 r’s, not a typo) and the most adorable little girl on the face of the planet named Trinity Rose. See ain’t they the cutest!

Um oh yea, here is one of me and wifey.

I’m a country boy so I love playing in the mountains whether it is hiking, biking, camping or just drinking by a campfire. As long as I’m in the woods I feel at home. I also love traveling, combat sports, chillin with the homies and helping others.

My time in cubicle nation is spent playing the role of a Sr. Technology Specialist. On the side I dabble in a couple of different projects aimed at supplying another stream of income ranging from a shop on etsy where I sell everything from custom made paracord creations to Shamballa bracelets. I have a few other projects in the works but being a father seems to consume the vast majority of my time but it’s completely ok in my book. Have I told you how cute my little girl is yet? See this little face…lol

Being a nerd at heart it was only inevitable that I would develop a deep love for blockchain technology and the digital assets that it brings. I as many of you would agree; only wish that I would have actually invested in Bitcoin the first time I heard about it but at least I’m in the know now and with what I have seen so far the future looks very promising. Even though I knew about bitcoin and many of the other alt coins for years I didn’t actually take the plunge on investing until a little over a year ago. I remember buying Ether at $14.00 a coin and XRP at less than half a penny. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into and ultimately I ended up selling those coins and many others before I could have made some serious profits(well over $300,000) but after seeing the power of what is possible if you just find the right coin at the right time I became hooked and wanted to learn as much as I could about every aspect of this world.

For me, the most exciting thing about the future of this industry is seeing how it is changing some of the oldest industries in existence. This year will be an amazing year for blockchain technology and I’m glad I’m finally taking the plunge into the Steemit world so I can share this love and excitement with those of you who feel the same way as I do. I’m a firm believer that learning is a constant in life so I’m hoping to build some relationships with some of you geniuses out there so we can figure out a solid plan for taking over the world. (Insert maniacal laugh) ;)
