We are on part four of our series on grapes. We have covered the first 9 types of grapes, so far. Today we will cover numbers 10, 11, and 12. So far most of our grapes have been grown in Europe. With one being a very rare grape grown on only 15 acres of land.
- Agiorgitiko Grapes are a red grape variety. The Agiorgitiko Grapes are also known as Aghiorghitiko, Mavro Nemeas and St. George. The grape has normally been grown in the Nemea Region of the Peloponnese, but is also grown throughout the country including Attiki (Attica) and Makedonia (Macedonia).

The Agiorgitiko Grapes a commercially important varieties. The wines are known for their high level of fruitiness. The grape is typically made as a varietal.
- Aglianico Grapes are a black grape grown in the southern regions of Italy, mostly in Basilicata and Campania.

The grapes grow the best in hot climates and volcanic soils. Common characteristics of Aglianico wine include a smooth, rich, texture and aromas and flavors of black fruit, dark chocolate, coffee, leather, smoke, and mineral. In other words, pretty complex.
- Aglianicone Grapes are a red grape variety, that is grown in the Campania and Basilicata region in southern Italy.

At one point, the Aglianicone Grape was thought to be identical to the Tuscan Wine Grape Ciliegiolo due to a false-positive result from DNA testing on mislabeled grapevines. After that error was uncovered, further DNA evidence revealed that even though Aglianicone was not a clonal mutation of Aglianico (as speculated due to the similarities in the name), the two grape vines are very closely related as potentially parent or offspring
