That Was Some Intense Cyber-Stalking—Allow Me To Introduce The Real Me, Or Rather: Whom I Am Not

There have been rumors circulating around for some time now, suggesting that images of another person on Facebook are of me.
That other individual is actually my brother (and for the sake of his privacy I will not release his name or profile information).
Contrary to suspicion, I have never been given plastic surgery (and as far as I'm aware, neither has he, to be clear), I have never had a tattoo removed, and I have never been tattooed.
We are two separate individuals, and I expect everyone to please not bother him over this—leave him alone.
Pretending that I do not exist, that he is me, is a delusion that spawned from deranged minds.

I am not him.

How did these false rumors to the contrary come about?
Isn't it obvious?

I have been stalked repeatedly throughout this past year, both in-person, online, and at workplaces.
Many around the world know some of the details, while many others have no idea (and no one really needs to know any details, though the "record" needs to be set straight).

I was falsely accused of being a shooter threat, back in late June, by individuals I was either not in contact with or had never even met.
I hadn't threatened anyone.
Further details may be disclosed later on.

After much of the hysteria died down, I was still not left alone, and many people have still been nervous or even fearful around me (many people I would protect rather than injure).
Much more has occurred since and is going on right at this moment that I will not yet discuss.
The false allegations still continue, along with other nefarious acts.

This may all be rather confusing to some because I am purposely neglecting to offer clear details.
If you don't know much or anything about this situation then you may find more information by asking around (but I prefer for the drama to ultimately die out so that my life can become stable again).
The internet has become mostly quiet over this matter, and many things were hushed/censored to hide embarrassment over internationally widespread false reports, and also in fear that I might violently respond to those who have acted in malice against me.
Some have also tried to incite a violent response—an unwise decision for any who lack a personal death wish; fortunately for them I simply want to be left alone.

So, what is it that convinced certain individuals to believe that my brother is me, and that persuaded others to suspect it as well?
Many things:
-I have not publicly released any clear images of my face online in recent years.
-He and I are the same age.
-Neither of us is religious.
-We were born two months premature and given blood transfusions, from which we both contracted HCV (a circumstance we have now both publicly mentioned).
-Attempts to locate clear and unavailable images of me resulted in people finding images of him instead (the best results that most facial recognition services could offer).
-Some individuals who have met my brother may have seen unclear images of me and thought that it was him.

Here's some of what destroys that false identification and the claims against me:
-My brother and I are not identical.
-Our medical histories are distinct from each other (our HCV treatments and results have not been the same).
-Our hair colors and eye colors are different.
-Our body types are similar but not the same.
-Our facial features are similar but our appearances are very distinctive; we only look like brothers.
-Our interests, likes, and dislikes differ greatly.
-Our personalities drastically contrast.
-My past is divergent from his.
-Some people have met both of us.

What does this prove?
It suggests that many who claimed to have met me, who assert that he is me, in reality had never even seen my face.
It demonstrates that certain individuals have spent far less time around me (if any) than they claim.
It suggests that some who readily believed that he was me, rather than realizing we don't really look much alike, have been inventing nonsense in an effort to destroy me.
It shows that, in actuality, many of the things that have been said about me are absolutely ludicrous because the sources have obviously been lying about who I am.
Many claims of recognizing "me" have been a facade to hide malicious activities.

The alleged threats of violence some individuals claim to have received from me have, in fact, clearly not occurred at all.

Why have I taken so long to come forward about so many things?
To allow fools to embarrass themselves in their own fraudulent drama, while I avoided the limelight.
I simply desire to live free from stalkers, narcissists, and sociopaths, while others insist on forcing their dramatic lunacy into my life.

Most details of my past will remain hidden, but further details on this matter may come to light (though I have no plans to release them all).

Please do not ask me to publicly release any images of my face. After the public insanity and gas-lighting I prefer to lower my profile (which unfortunately requires that I expose some of the ridiculous things that raised it). Whether or not any viral response occurs again is irrelevant to me, as long as the truth is freely available to any interested or concerned.
