Alright, I'm Kai from Germany, Democratic Socialist (by European standards), and unhealthily attached to fictional characters. Not in a psycho kind of way, just in a geeky kind of way.
I'm also one of five sons of parents who both used to be teachers, so from my upbringing I get a lot of the bad social habits of teachers, like being a know-it-all, wise-ass who hates to be wise-assed himself.
In 2009 I founded the SciFi Stammtisch Freiburg, a monthly meeting of SciFi enthusiasts at the Harmonie Restaurant in Freiburg (obviously).
I like to think of myself as a writer, but then I sometimes remind myself that, aside from the occasional article for the PRANKE fanzine for Japanese Monster and SF movies, I rarely write anything these days.
Oh, and I work at a sex shop. Maybe I should have led with that.
