So it turns out i don't take many pictures of myself, so theres a cropped image cutting out people on both sides.

I have no idea what i'm doing on Steemit. I purchased Steem on an exchange before I had an account. There's a guy on youtube I think I trust more than I should (crypt0) and I was watching his video on Steemit and believed it could be the future of reddit. I took a dive in the pool, head first.

I got involved with cryptocurrency last year, just attempting to get more familiar with the darknet and what people are doing on it (as if i couldn't use my imagination). I forgot all about my experiment until about March of 2017. I was clearing out my email inbox to maintain organization and i came across an email from Coinbase. "Hmmmm, didn't I put $50 in last year". I reset my login credentials and BOOM! $180 in my account.

Did i just forget about my bitcoin and profit? When I was doing my research on the darknet or tor, I read about why Bitcoin was the currency of choice, how people tumble the coins, this that, etc... What I didn't read, was the whitepaper from S.N. I started reading about the monetary system and all of this End the Fed jazz. My mind was blown. I've been on this earth for 2_ years and I had no idea how money moved.

That's how I got introduced to the crypto craze, that's how ill introduce myself to steem. Thank you! Many users introduce themselves but don't really say how they discovered Steemit. Let me know in the comments.
