Hello

I am a passionate plant person and a student of horticulture, with interests in landscape design and permaculture.

If anyone on here has an interest in horticulture and plants, I recommend you check out my blog where I am currently posting plant card files for temperate climate plants which grow well in the Pacific Northwest: 300+ plants

Steemit seems like great place to find original photography, open source designs, and all sorts of resources I look forward to exploring and sharing on my page. My goals from using steemit are to connect with a broader plant-nerd community while creating a list of links to interesting content from around the web.

Welcome to Steemit @lpro
@haphazard-hstead has a wealth of information and great blogs too.
As an equal-opportunity plant killer, I am always seeking advice and helpful tips to maintaining a garden. LOL

funny how you get into this business to care for plants but all the jobs people want done are plant removal..

You know, living in Florida, we had a huge problem with elephant ears and bamboo, so I can totally understand plant removal, but I can see a huge need for tree care and indigenous plant species care because the invasive stuff is terrible.
Don't laugh, but the longest lasting house plant I ever had got a shot of whiskey once a month. That thing lived for YEARS! I've killed all other plants until just recently. LOL

Thanks for the kind words, @merej99.

I'm a native Oregonion and looking forward to your post, nice to meet you!

Welcome to Steemit! There are some plant nerds here on Steemit, including permaculture folks and folks from the Pacific Northwest. You might be interested checking out a couple tags: gardening, foraging, permaculture. And there are 2 new "channels" that seek out good content on those topics: the @gardening-trail and the @foraging-trail.

To post images here, you need to have your images on an image hosting service that will provide you with links. Then you put the links into your post. I'm going to put a link to a post right here: Here. Don't worry about what's in that article - don't! Just look at the bottom of it, where it has a heading "Are You New to Steemit and Finding it Confusing?" It has a bunch of links that will help you out.

Looking forward to seeing some posts from you!

@lpro - Keep an eye on this guy too!

Cool, we have some of the same interests.
