I thought long and hard about what I was going to write on here for my first post. Something cool, something catchy, something to make people interested... So I came to the decision of cliché instead.

It's an introduction to ME..

Who is Maggie Bree Williams? Although I have spent the last 20 years of my life trying very hard to figure out the answer to that question, I can however give you some of the things I've uncovered so far.

Well in comparison to most girls my age, who are probably out celebrating Saturday night by drinking Passion Pop (or any other alcoholic bevy under $10), I guess I'm pretty mature. Don't get me wrong I am no angel, just last month I woke up wrapped in a nice warm blanket in the hallway of an emergency room after a night out... But that was just me getting a little carried away with the wine, while out for a Thai dinner.

I like to think of myself as an old soul I suppose and thats very fitting considering my very lovely partner Jamie Rikiriki is just shy of 15 years my senior.

We have been together for about a year and a half now and are very happy... I'll tell you more about that another day.

I guess my passion is definitely music, I sing, play the piano and a little guitar. However the real truth is, I am petrified or performing in public, it hasn't always been that way, I do remember being a very confident 10 year old singing The Little Mermaids' A whole new world to my School and feeling very happy about myself. However somewhere along the line I started really doubting myself and I am hoping to find a little safe haven in Steemit to share my love of music (once i figure out how to post a video that is)

I've also recently discovered a real love of BAKING! Which accompanies mine and Jamies love of eating very nicely. I am a rookie in the cooking game but jesus I love it so definitely expect to see some sweet recipes comin your way people! WOO 🍰

I work in a call center.. Yeah I know what you're thinking "ugh an annoying telemarketer.."
and YEP you are abso-friggen-lutely right my friend. I will sell you a holiday you didn't even know you wanted right after you lie and tell me you're in a meeting or right in the middle of dinner. The plan is to get into real estate, hopefully soon actually, right after our big trip to South East Asia in 3 weeks time! (cant wait to show some photos of that).

I live on the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland, AUSTRAILYA MATE. 🌏 It really is a great place to live, sun, sand, steroids... That last one isn't relevant to my life but c'mom it's the Gold Coast - we are all thinking it. Originally I'm from a little place called Ulverstone in Tasmania, a little state off the bottom of Australia. I don't know how many people here know Tasmania but if you do Im sure you're thinking the joke that never gets old: " You can't even see the scar!" - this is simply a referral to the scar on my neck where they removed my second head... Because of all the inbreds... You know what, its really an Australian joke so if you're not an Aussie it's all gonna seem a little strange. Long story short, not all that many people in Tasmania!

Well you know I could keep talking but lets just make this short and sweet... It's exciting actually it's been a long time since I wrote and this seems like a great place to get back into the swing of it!
