Hi! How ya doing?

Hello and welcome to my Introduction.
Glad to have you here! :)
I shall start off by saying that I am an author who is completely awkward when it comes to writing about themselves.
Please don't let this introduction deter you from having a quick look at any of the poems or short stories I have/will shared.
I mainly write poetry, but I do have some (very) short stories. I have been telling stories all my life, writing them down for at least the last 15 years or so. So far, I have managed to collect 17 volumes of hand written poems, containing roughly, ohhh ten? really good ones. Maybe a few more than that. I do participate in a couple of poetry sharing websites, figured I would explore as many avenues of the internet as I can find.

Last year I finally lit the fire beneath my rear end and self published a small anthology of my tales and poems. (Special thanks to Smashwords for being available and so helpful in their guides.)
Not looking to be rich and famous, (I like my soul too much to sell it), but I can't grow old with regrets; so I needed to get them out of their torn up notebooks and read by people other than myself.
I think my poetry is pretty good, but I'm a little biased, so any feedback and constructive criticism is warmly welcomed.
I don't mind if you say it's awful, but please, at least tell me why so I can grow from the experience.
