My long delayed introduction to the Steemit communitysteemCreated with Sketch.

in introduction •  7 years ago

Hi fellow Steemians. I started using Steem about two months ago but have not really introduced myself to all of you, as I have been trying to understand this new community and how I can be of best service to all of you.

Some people call me a geek. Others call me an Apple bigot. While others are more kind and call me very smart.
What I do know is that I LOOOVE technology and I read A LOT about new stuff being developed in the Information Technology space.

I am very passionate about product design and user experience. I am a strong advocate of IT Service Management - if you don't know what that is, basically its just making sure that processes get done really well. I also am fortunate to have a published book which was released in 2000 but is still available at Amazon: [High Availability - Design, Techniques, Processes] (https://www.amazon.com/High-Availability-Design-Techniques-Processes/dp/013714119X).

When am not working, I like to think about education - the non-traditional type since I homeschool my kids.

I really don't know what I should write about so if you want, ask me by commenting with your question below. I may have something worthwhile to share about: ITIL, cryptocurrencies, ICOs, bitcoin, ethereum, startups, user experience design, PHP, IOS, Apple, Steve Jobs, Badminton, fishing, the Philippines, venture capital, software development, God, facing near-death, homeschooling, elearning, airgun shooting, movies, photography, information security, data privacy, SIRI, open-source software, ticketing systems, book publishing, writing, having lots of kids...
