Introducing myself from South-Africa

Hi , my name is Richard and I am a technology enthusiast. I live in South-Africa and It has been a passion of mine to learn and do new things since I can't even remember. I recently got accepted to go study Information Technology (emphasis on Software developing and Data analysis) at the University of Pretoria in South-Africa.

The past few years I have been teaching myself how to code and it has been a wonderful learning experience and I hope that next year when I go study at tertiary level that I can further improve my skills. My main goal in life is to be successful and ensuring that I don't have to worry about how I will survive from this day to the next.

My Background

I grew up in a poor family in a small town and as an result I became a self-disciplined and hard working Student . My obsession with technology began here , because I used it as a way to separate myself from reality. Growing up in the conditions I did also taught me to be responsible .
I have since then improved my way of living with small jobs here and there since I can not as of yet have a full time job with school .

I know where I want to be and I make sure nothing stands in my way of getting there. But with that said I am still very Proud of my past and I know that staying humble it today's world is an absolute necessity.

I am lucky enough to have been blessed with leadership skills as I have served as Headboy at my Highschool .
