My first post on Steemit - check me out

Hi everybody, this is my first Steemit post. I'm a designer and musician. I am a real believer in the idea that we are creating our own reality - both individually and collectively. I want to help us all realize that 'what is going to happen' is NOT written in stone. Rather, it is produced by what we intend and what we want. We have been unwittingly helped in creating a system that keeps us enslaved. This is not new, in fact it goes back to the beginning of our known history. It is very important for us to NOT get caught up in the massive propaganda that is thrust upon us daily by the media that we use to get our information. I will try my best to point anyone that is interested to really good references that support what I believe - My Truth. I will say here in my first post that what I believe is what creates MY reality and understanding that one's beliefs are critically important. Believing that you have no control over your destiny is wrong and a dangerous and dis-empowering belief in itself.
Since I just joined I'm not completely clear on what I can or want to post. I also have some websites and blogs, a YouTube channel, etc, but I'm not sure how interconnected I want them to be. I'm going to take it slow and try to give you the BEST information that I have. I tend to veer to the woo-woo side of things. I don't believe in organized religion and realized many years ago that politics is a tool of the controllers. I hope you will find my posts helpful at least, but also informative and will contribute in even a small way to You also realizing your success in life and realizing your true potential.
We are in a NEW time!! That is evident in the news, and I don't have to prove it. So let's all band together to Create the world We want, a world that is built on our Love for each other, compassion, kindness, generosity and Knowing that we are what we Choose to be and Free to do this. This may sound lofty or even goofy, but what anybody thinks of me is none-of-my-business, so save your flames and criticisms. I will simply IGNORE all trolls and immediately send them all my LOVE.
