Based on a personal True Story

I posted this a few days ago, but I want to make this an introduction as well. Something to say this is where I came from. This is a tale of my mother and father, and that 2 year old toddler...was me...but I did not allow this to define me...today I am grown woman happy with my own family. It is the choices YOU make that defines who you are. Don't let others mistakes choose your path....

More than 20 years ago there was this woman. She has been previously married but managed to get away from a abusive husband with her two very young children. Some time later she was devastated as she learned from the daycare the father had come with tearfilled eyes saying their mother has been in a terrible car accident and she is calling out for her children. Bewildered the caretaker handed over the kids to their father. This was the beginning of a long, expensive and heartbreaking journey to reclaim her children with the little money she had against her ex husband and his wealthy family.

With family far away she was grieving and feeling alone in her struggling battle that has been going on for years to reclaim her children.

She lived each day like the previous. Putting in extra shifts at work to earn more money for the lawyer.
Then one day she met a man. Older than she is, going through his own divorce with three almost fully grown children. As she and this man got closer his children and soon to be ex wife resented her more. But she felt comfert with him. Not long after the divorce was final she was pregnant with her third child. And this revelation was beginning to mend her broken heart on the loss of her other two children. Their father had won full custody and he was not generous with visits.

She loved her darling baby with all the love she wish she could give her other children too. She thought her life was beginning to see better days with a man she loved and their new baby.

Things took a bad turn...

Her new fiance suggested they each receive a life policy after the other passed away to ensure a better life for the other and their now almost toddler child incase the worst happens.

They made all the arrangements together and it was in place. Till one day she was rummaging looking for something and found a briefcase hidden she hadn't seen before. Inside the briefcase contained papers with a handful other women who had died of unnatural causes and their life policies was paid out to this man or his his family.

Scared she confided in her sister who said she should lock it up in a safety deposit box at the bank and ammend the life policy to be shared among all her children, should something happen.

She did. And she did not let this man know that she was aware nor did she run in fear of her family's safety. She ensured her child will be adopted within the family, someone she trusts.

A few months later she went to the lake with her fiance and her 2 year old child. With the child asleep next to her on a blanket she notices some irresponsible guy playing with a sawed off shotgun. She stood up and asked him how he got it passed security and asked he put it away before someone gets hurt. Whilst walking away and her back turn at him he laughed and said he will show her it's not loaded. He pointed it at her and a shot was fired. The force and the close proximity through her back made her spin around landing on her back next to her now awake child.

In the following weeks the child's new guardian and family made all the necessary arrangements after the funeral. The woman's sister finally came out of her shocked state and for the first time, told the family about the papers in the safety deposit box.

Now a grieving family alerted the police but they came back empty handed saying it has already been emptied by a higher up employee who showed proof he had the authority. All the woman's journals have been taken and the neighbors said the fiance came with his ex wife and eldest son moving some of the woman's belongings a few hours after she had died....

No proof was found and the family looking at the woman's sister wondering if she is not still maybe in shock due to her grieve. But years later she held by her story still....
