Hi Folks,
I'm super new here and I'm not sure how things work on Steemit. I found it while researching about cryptocurrency for one of the blog posts for one of my clients.
I have been reading people's introductions so I decided to give it a go too.
So...
I'm Fiza, a 21 years old Copywriter trying to specialize in direct response. Well, that's a tricky road and I'm managing to survive somehow. I just graduated with Applied Psychology major and International Relations and Social Work as my other subjects (Feel free to discuss your emotional problems for FREE. LOL)
And about that Breaking the Knee, I have had a very sedentary lifestyle and all I do is write, eat, sleep and repeat. My family is supportive and my siblings are kind enough to provide me with food on my table with of course a cup of tea or coffee every now and then (oh, yeah, I'm so lucky).
Recently, I decided to bring a little change in my life by routinely running half a mile or so. I started with the help of my brother who can break in less than 7 minutes. In the first week, I ran half a mile in 6 minutes, LOL. But it's too much for a poor soul like me. Well, in next week, its all gone because my knees have refused to bear my weight which is 68kg with 5'7" height. I'm so hurt and I can't walk :( I'm taking the medicine and it has proven to be effective but still, I think I'm never going to run again.
If someone wants to motivate me to lose some weight and adopt a healthy lifestyle, feel free to hit me up with your words and suggestions. I need to be a better version of myself.
I hope everybody is having fun. Stay Happy!
Bye.
P.S. It was more of a rant than an intro. But its okay right?
Hello, Wordmonger, and welcome to Steemit.
Upon seeing your ID, I just had to find out who you are and why you chose that ID.
As a writer, you'll find Steemit to be one of the best places to write. I worked as an English instructor and editor. At the same time, over the years, I tried a bit of freelance writing and blogging, but could never find any reason to continue the "eternal struggle" of writing for no reward.
Until Steemit.
After reading your intro (rant), I realize that you can write. So, keep at it, write about things that interest you, create high-quality posts, and .... eventually .... you will attain some level of success on this platform.
Best of luck.
