Things have really been booming here on Steemit lately.
I've picked up over a hundred new followers in the past two weeks. I don't know where you're all coming from or how you're finding me, but welcome to the blockchain and thank you for following me. I'm very happy to have you here.
This week I had planned to post some pictures and contemplations on Wild Flower Wednesday about why it's important to take the time to STOP from time to time, but I never got around to it due to having to work a bunch of overtime this week and not having internet access while changing my service provider.
It being a Friday, though, and Friday sounding good with the word flowers, I figured I'd share these pictures with you today.
In addition, I'd also like to introduce you to my good friend @musingsltd. If you like somewhat crude, biting humor and sarcasm with political overtones, you will love @musingsltd. He's an original content creator specializing in comics and animation who can tell you a lot about living and working in Japan and possibly even more about vintage guitars and instruments.

Thanks. I did have to practically lie down in an intersection to take that picture. A few passing people gave me some strange looks as I did. Those are azalea blossoms. They're all over the place here.

My friends just visited from Berkeley and were surprised by how many flowers and trees and the general feel of some areas of the coast that California and Japan share.
