Reached 150 Follower Status- Thank You!!!!

I just surpassed 150 followers and wanted to take an opportunity to thank everyone that allowed me to attain this level in what I consider a short matter of time.

I am not looking for upvotes with this post. I just wanted to let newbies know that this platform is real and to encourage them to stick with it.

For me Steemit has replaced Facebook. Which is funny because none of my Facebook friends are on Steemit (yet). So I have never spoken to or met face to face with anyone that follows me or that I follow on Steemit, but I feel that I learn more on this platform than I do on any of the others.

I post about a wide range of topics. Politics, Sports, Humor, Products and Hobbies. I look to follow people that appear to be very active in the Steemit community, enjoy debate and discussion, and comment on posts. I also very much enjoy learning from other perspectives. So while I like following people with similar interests as mine, I don't need them to agree with me 100% of the time. Opiniated people is what really attracts me to follow.
