Achievement 01: Who am I? Introducing Myself to Steemit.

Hello Everyone,

This is the most starting post on Steemit. Here, according to the tradition, I would like to introduce myself in the steemit community. I am Shavindra De Alwis, 30 years old and born on the 19th of October 1991. I am a native Sri Lankan and my hometown is Pilimathalawa near Kandy. Currently, I am living in Colombo.

I went to Sri Sumangla College – Kandy and after finishing college I entered SLIIT to follow my higher studies in Engineering. After four years of bachelor’s degree course, I graduated as a Mechanical Engineer. Then, I joined the Engineering Faculty of SLIIT as an instructor in the Mechanical Engineering Department and worked on Automotive and Design Engineering-based applications.

After one and half years of educational career, I joined a reputed concrete manufacturing company in the industry as a Mechanical Engineer and gained much experience in the construction machinery field. After two years of service, I moved into the textile industry and currently working on a reputed textile innovation company based in Ranala near Kaduwela as the Projects and Maintenance Engineer for the Head Quarters plant of the company cluster.

Reading is one of my favorites from childhood and I have a good collection of books (I am calling it my mini library) and like to write on many topics. Also, Hiking is another one of my favorites. Furthermore, I am enjoying watching movies and TV series as a hobby.

This is the time to be thankful for @besticofinder and my friend @shalitha for show the path to this platform.
