SRI LANKAN PICKLES
Sri Lankan Pickles are one of the traditional dishes of our country. We mostly eat it with rice and curry.
I made this for this Sinhala and Tamil new year. You can also try it at home by following this recepie......
Ingredients
200g Red onion
50g Green chillies
Some Carrots
Some raw Papaya
100ml coconut vinegar
Some chopped garlic
Small ginger piece
Small bark of moringa
Salt
Method
Heat the pan, add the vinegar in to that. Allow to coock onion, carrot, papaya for one minute.
Take another bawl, add the mustered paste in to it.follow with garlic, ginger and all the other ingredients.
Mixed with the vinegar and mustered paste and allow to cool.
Put in the bottles or pot and close for 7 days and enjoy....
