Ayame's Dashingly Noble Suitors

This motivational poster is highly Sesshoumaru x Ayame, Inuyasha x Ayame, and Sesshoumaru x Ayame x Inuyasha as well as highly Anti-Kouga. So, my dearest friends, fellow artists, fans, and brethren, sit back, relax, and revel in why I highly believe both Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha make for more upstanding, loyal, dashing, and awesome suitors to Ayame in super stark comparison to that lowlife excuse of a wolf yokai warrior Kouga.

It is time for me to give a little bit more context as to why I cherish my most beloved OT3 of all time consisting of two strong, mighty, powerful dog yokai warrior brothers and one determined, headstrong, energetic Northern Yoro Wolf Tribe princess. This also goes hand-in-hand with my overall disdain against that cowardly, big-talking scoundrel Kouga and how his whole "marriage" with Ayame in the end of "Inuyasha: The Final Act" was nothing more than just a con, considering how he did not end up joining in the final battle against Naraku when he had his jewel shards deprived from him and ran away like a pathetically lousy wolf cub.

You might be asking, why do you convict that Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha make for much better suitors let alone husbands for Ayame than that coward Kouga. They can be boiled down to six reasons. Why six? Because I can, and it is one of my most favorite numbers ever.

  1. Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha never back down from a fight.
Leave it up to these two dog yokai warriors to give any opponent a major beating thanks to their strength, combat skills, claws, stealth, sharply-honed senses, and determination to get the job done. Enemies do not even have a prayer when one comes face-to-face with these two mighty brothers. Ayame is certainly going to fancy these two battling out various demons with their superb combat skills.

  2. Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha are strong on their own terms.
This is where Kouga fails miserably, as Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha have to go through Hell and back to become the powerful pair of dog yokai brothers that they are. Sure, Inuyasha did covet the Shikon Jewel to want to become a full fledge yokai, but over time, his obsession of it began to fade away and he grew stronger as a warrior. Sesshoumaru never needed the Shikon Jewel in the first place, as it was a waste of time. They stand in stark comparison to Kouga who needed the jewel shards as a means to accelerate his own power. Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha on the other hand did not need that at all because of how physically capable they truly were.

  3. One way or the other, Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha live up to their word with honor and dignity.
This is where honor plays a huge role in these two brothers because they do not cave in to flattery nor empty promises. Given that they are dog yokai, the most significant trait they have is the importance of loyalty, honor, and integrity, which would be traits admirable to Ayame. Kouga, on the other hand, did not live up to avenging his fallen comrades at the hands of Kagura and Naraku when he was deprived of his jewel shards in his legs, thus not making him such an honorable warrior after all.

  4. Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha display boundless courage.
These two brothers can acknowledge fear straight in the eye and tackle it with everything they have. Nothing is going to make these two retreat any time soon.

  5. Even though they would not admit it, Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha would be ready to protect anybody.
While Kouga and his wolves went out of their way to kill and devour villagers and the poor, hapless Rin, Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha low-key found and grew a bit of compassion for humans instead of just seeing them as their next meal. This is helped by the fact that Inu No Taisho Touga did love and protect Izayoi with all of his heart and this trait is somewhat passed down to his sons. Moreover, in my AU headcanon, it is actually Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, and Ayame who stop Kouga's wolves from hunting down the villagers and save Rin from their clutches, thus having Rin become very attached to Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, and Ayame as her greatest role models.

  6. Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha displayed actual growth as individuals.
Unlike Kouga who ended up cutting corners and used cheats in the form of the Sacred Jewel shards, thus making him a weak individual, the biggest kicker for Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha was the growth they displayed in the show, though in subtle hints yet through a painfully long episode count. Sesshoumaru did grow to become a bit more compassionate through his experience with Rin by his side. Whilst Inuyasha grew in transforming his weaknesses as a hanyou into strengths both physically and mentally. This is the reason which demonstrates how much more worthy Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha are for Ayame's hand as her husbands, as they have learned to face various obstacles with open arms and grow from their challenges. Henceforth, Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha are truly the most honorable warrior guardians Ayame, her grandfather, and the Northern Yoro Tribe have ever witnessed and have been very proud to call their own.

In conclusion, Sesshoumaru's and Inuyasha's combined strength, endurance, valor, unorthodox nobility, courage, and honor make them absolutely phenomenal spousal candidates for Ayame. They both have received not only her grandfather's and the Northern Yoro warrior's blessings, but also my blessings bestowed upon them because of everything positive they represent.

I hope you all enjoyed this and I will see you in the next submission. Take care and stay safe, everybody.

Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, and Ayame from Inuyasha belong to Rumiko Takahashi and Sunrise.
