This piece of Inuyasha x Ayame and InuAya next-gen fan art, which is my fourth submission for mysterysneeze's contest is dedicated to moonflowering and Moonstone27 who celebrated their birthdays yesterday. So, I hope you had wonderful birthdays, and I wish you a lot of love, prosperity, and abundance in your lives as artists and as people. This is also dedicated to all of the wonderful InuAya shippers of the world. Sit back, relax, and revel in how Inuyasha, Ayame, and their youngest daughter Meika enjoy a nice session of swimming and bathing in their favourite lake adorned with flowers and a calming waterfall.
Seventeen years ago in Feudal Era Japan, prior to Meika becoming the fleet-footed, lightning fast, determined warrior princess she is today, 3 going on 4-year-old Meika was a cheery, adorable, and lovable child of nature who enjoyed being under the trees' cooling shades and her animal friends' lovingly nurturing company. 22 going on 23-year-old Inuyasha, 19 going on 20-year-old Ayame, and their youngest daughter and overall youngest child 3 going on 4-year-old Meika loved to swim and bathe in their most favourite lake as a means to calm themselves after a full day of training for the parents and a full day of playing for the youngest child respectively. The lake they went to was special because this was where gardenias were in full bloom, considering that these flowers were used for cleansing purposes. After a session of swimming, Inuyasha, Ayame, and Meika would bathe in the waterfall complete with using gardenias as shampoo and soap. Rinsing off the gardenias' suds proved to be tough, as Meika's strong sense of smell meant that she tended to sneeze quite profusely. At least the reaction was more of the beneficial kind, for the gardenias' scent tickled her nose.
I hope you all enjoyed this, and I will see you in the next submission. Take care, stay safe, and please keep on showing your love for Inuyasha and Ayame as a couple as well as their progeny, everybody.
Inuyasha and Ayame from Inuyasha belong to Rumiko Takahashi.
Meika belongs to me.
