This "What if Character replace character in scene" originally belongs to @MagicalKeyPizzaDan and is dedicated to all of the wonderful Inuyasha x Ayame and Raymond x Alex partisans of the world. This is also dedicated to everybody who enjoys The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, especially the second season's fifteenth episode "My Brother's Keeper." Sit back, relax, and revel in how this scene would play out but in an entirely different scenario.
What happens when Inuyasha and Ayame take on Marcus Stokes' physical prowess as the most reputable combatants of all time and Raymond and Alex adapt to Will's charming charisma? You get both power couples adapting themselves to an iconic scene from "My Brother's Keeper." The specific scene involves Will discovering that Marcus is a single father with a young son of his own after discovering that he also resides in a socioeconomically disadvantaged locale far from Los Angeles, not in Malibu. I have emphasized how Marcus's socioeconomically disadvantaged background intersects with his fatherless family and his status as an adolescent single father in my Master's Thesis, which I have researched was a common reality in Black American families who have not been socially elevated. This particular scene has inspired me to take Inuyasha, Ayame, the fourteen InuAya offspring, Raymond, and Alex out for a spin out of the barbershop that Marcus, Will, and Junior inhabited. They would have a similar scene after Sesshoumaru's, Shuran's, Inuyasha's, Hakkaku's, Ginta's, Ayame's, and Shunran's defeat of Ulrich Wernerstein and his bodybuilder goons atop the Austrian Alps.
If you have followed my previous works revolving around Inuyasha's brotherhood with Raymond, Ayame's sisterhood with Alex, and the prospects of having both Inuyasha x Ayame and Raymond x Alex be best friends forever, I have always insisted that Raymond and Alex would have the strongest bond with Inuyasha and Ayame out of all The Splendid Seven members. They would even be inspired by this canine yokai power couple, thanks to their impeccable combat prowess and stupendous super-strength. Inuyasha's magnificent muscles and bludgeoning brutality in Ancient Greek Wrestling mixed with Shoot Wrestling, Kapu Kuialua, Ssireum, Ancient Pankration, Greco-Roman Wrestling, Freestyle Wrestling, and Modern Pankration inspire Raymond to be a reliable wrestling partner. Ayame's furious fists and limbering limbs in Xtreme Gladiator Kickboxing mixed with Shooto, Shootfighting, Shoot Boxing, Muay Thai, Pradal Serey, Draka Kickboxing, and Kyuk Too Ki compel Alex to improve her combat skills. Therefore, Inuyasha and Ayame would do a whole world of good for Raymond and Alex.
I take you all back once again to December 12, 2004, at Ulrich Wernerstein's headquarters in the Austrian Alps. 22-year-old Raymond and his 18-year-old girlfriend, Alex, have just witnessed 22-year-old Inuyasha and his 19-year-old wife, Ayame, unleashing a deadly finishing combo on the blond-haired bodybuilder goon, the green-mohawked bodybuilder goon, and Ulrich himself. Inuyasha had his German suplex, piledriver, and neck crank combo for both bodybuilder goons and unleashed a surfboard rack on Ulrich before holding him on a Full Nelson for Ayame to beat him up. Ayame fires up her uppercuts, jabs, overhand punches, elbow slashes, knee bombs, shin kicks, and dropkicks on Ulrich and saves some for the two bodybuilder goons. Inuyasha and Ayame triumph, as they join 23-year-old Sesshoumaru, 22-year-old Shuran, 21-year-old Hakkaku, 21-year-old Ginta, and 18-year-old Shunran in collecting their prize: a free yearly membership at the Beverly Hills Gym and a one-hundred-thousand-dollar cheque courtesy of WOOHP, the Wernerstein Mansion, and the Beverly Hills Gym. Raymond and Alex express their amazement, specifically at Inuyasha's and Ayame's prodigious strength and flawless combat prowess.
"Wow, you guys, that was amazing!" Raymond beams while he excitedly clasps at Inuyasha's hands.
"Yeah, you truly creamed Ulrich and those goons!" Alex also beams while applauding Ayame.
Inuyasha smirks and flexes his biceps, "Eh, all in a day's work. Besides, Wernerstein and his cronies were no match for us. Right, babe?"
Ayame touches Inuyasha's bulging biceps and kisses him, "Yes, indeed, my dearest."
After that, Inuyasha and Ayame kiss each other, much to Raymond's and Alex's delight and curiosity.
"So, how long have you been together?" Raymond inquires.
Ayame responds, her arms still wrapped around Inuyasha, "We've been married for nine years now."
Alex replies with shock, "Nine years?! You're just as young as we are!"
Inuyasha exposits, "Yeah. To cut a long story short, Ayame and I were betrothed while we were still very young. I got initiated into her wolf demon tribe, got trained by the warriors, and proved myself to be the best candidate for her hand in marriage. Heck, I've even participated in a lot of wrestling matches against opponents bigger and stronger than I was!"
Ayame adds, "Since then, I have been the happiest girl to have my dearest Inuyasha as my husband. I also did my share of fighting opponents alongside him. We've been inseparable ever since."
"On top of that, we've also been training with the world's best fighters to hone our combat skills." Inuyasha declares.
"And we've found ourselves triumphing in nearly every martial arts tournament while fulfilling our duties as tribe leaders." Ayame chimes in.
Raymond and Alex are astounded at Inuyasha's and Ayame's bond, experience, and charisma as combatants, leaders, and overall formidable individuals.
"Wow," Raymond says.
"That is quite a story," Alex adds.
"Say, do you think you can teach Alex and I some of your techniques?" Raymond excitedly asks.
"Yeah, it would be totally cool to learn from the best!" Alex chimes in.
Just then, fourteen humanoid dog-wolf yokai hybrid children scamper from their seats to be reunited with Inuyasha and Ayame and meet Raymond and Alex. They are 7-year-olds Masataka, Masaya, and Masaru; 6-year-olds Kenta and Keita; 5-year-olds Kazuhiko and Kaito; 4-year-old Kiriko; 3-year-olds Momoko, Makoto, and Mikoto; 2-year-olds Maya and Minako; and 1-year-old Meika.
"Our dad and mom say we can grow up to be wrestlers-" Masataka beams.
"Take on the world's martial arts tournaments-" Masaya chimes in.
"And bring honor and glory to their names!" Masaru concludes.
Raymond and Alex are surprised to see Masataka, Masaya, and Masaru having the same features as Inuyasha but whose eyes are a mixture of his and Ayame's eye color.
"Our dad also says that if we train our bodies hard enough-" Kenta commences.
"We can grow up to be just as big and strong as he is with big muscles!" Keita ends.
Kenta and Keita play flex at each other while giving each other noogies and playfully wrestle with each other. While they have Ayame's hair color, they have Inuyasha's features of golden eyes and a rough-and-tumble attitude. Raymond's and Alex's astonishment increases.
"We learn a lot from our parents-" Kazuhiko says.
"When it comes to fighting fair." Kaito beams.
Kazuhiko and Kaito grin at Raymond and Alex. They may have Inuyasha's hair color and ears, but they also have Ayame's eyes.
"Mom and Dad say that I'm gonna make it as a Muay Thai fighter and shootfighter when I grow up!" Kiriko interjects.
Kiriko has Inuyasha's ears and eye formation and Ayame's hair and eye color. She also seems to be just as much of a fighter as Inuyasha and Ayame are.
"When we grow up-" Momoko begins.
"We wanna be just like Mom-" Makoto proceeds.
"And knock out strong opponents with our fists and feet!" Mikoto ends.
Momoko, Makoto, and Mikoto have Inuyasha's hair and eye colors but also Ayame's ears.
"Daddy and Mommy are really strong!" Maya and Minako chimed together, as Meika joined with a coo and a giggle.
Maya and Minako look similar to Ayame in terms of their hair and eye color, while Meika has Ayame's hair color and Inuyasha's eye color.
With all fourteen humanoid dog-wolf hybrid yokai children surrounding Inuyasha and Ayame in front of them, they make their identities known.
"Hey, not so fast, little buddies!" Inuyasha said with a cuddle to them.
"You all still have a long way to go yet, sweeties," Ayame added tenderly.
Inuyasha and Ayame turn their attention to Raymond and Alex, who are perplexed, astonished, and utterly surprised.
"Little buddies?" Raymond asks.
"Sweeties?" Alex also asks.
"Yeah, you guys, these are our kids," Inuyasha replies.
"Kids, we'd like you to meet Raymond and Alex," Ayame says.
"Hello, Raymond. Hello, Alex." All fourteen of Inuyasha's and Ayame's children beam with grins on their faces, while Inuyasha and Ayame have small smiles on their faces.
Raymond and Alex smile back at them while remaining surprised that Inuyasha and Ayame could be parents at such young ages. This has also got them thinking about their relationship's next stage since Inuyasha and Ayame have already found unity together and produced such promising offspring.
I know what a good chunk of you are thinking. Oh, my goodness, Inuyasha and Ayame had kids while they were still young themselves! What on earth? Please hear me out. Yes, it is shocking by modern societal standards. However, given that Inuyasha and Ayame are from Feudal Era Japan and members of the Northern Yoro Tribe, it is quite common in those times for young people in their tweens and teens to be engaged and eventually married. This is what transpired with Inuyasha and Ayame, at least in my AU headcanon, and they have reaped the benefits of their marriage and starting a family at an early age. By how Raymond and Alex have reacted to Inuyasha and Ayame revealing to them that they are parents of fourteen children, readers can understand their surprise and reflect on the possibility of starting a family should they be serious about their relationship goals.
I hope you all enjoyed this, and I will see you in the next submission. Take care, stay safe, and continue spreading love for Inuyasha x Ayame and Raymond x Alex, everybody.
