Hey, everybody. So, I have been having a lot of ideas in my head regarding my Inuyasha AU headcanon The Splendid Seven starring Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, Ayame, Shuran, Hakkaku, Ginta, and Shunran. One of those ideas that has been dancing around my head revolves the martial arts, most specifically of the hand-to-hand variety. I figured that this move for Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, Ayame, Shuran, Hakkaku, Ginta, and Shunran being the strong Yokai warrior family that they are would mean that they could use their own bare hands and bare feet as weapons by virtues of their punches, kicks, clinches, chokeholds, flips, and overall physical strength.
Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, Ayame, Shuran, Hakkaku, Ginta, and Shunran in my Splendid Seven AU Headcanon start off with Tae Kwon Do, judo, karate, mixed martial arts, Brazilian jujitsu, and Japanese jujitsu as children. However, as they grow into their teens and eventual adult years, each of them have their own martial arts they specialise in. So, here are the martial arts suggestions I have in store for Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha, Ayame, Shuran, Hakkaku, Ginta, and Shunran.
Sesshoumaru- Brazilian Jujitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Japanese Jujitsu, Vale Tudo, Marine Corps Martial Arts, Shootfighting, and Ancient Greek Boxing.
Inuyasha- Mixed Martial Arts, Pankration, Ancient Greek Wrestling, Kapu Kuialua, Bokator, Pehlwani, and Malla-yuddha.
Ayame- Kickboxing, Judo, Boxing, Krav Maga, Full Contact Karate, Nippon Kempo, and Sambo.
Shuran- Sumo Wrestling, Professional Wrestling, Ssireum, Kurash, Mongolian Wrestling, Luta Livre Esportiva, and Shuai Jiao.
Hakkaku- Muay Thai, Panantukan, Moraingy, Dambe, Taekkyeon, Pradal Serey, and Kajukenbo.
Ginta- Lethwei, Systema, Hapkido, Eagle Claw Kung Fu, Tang Soo Do, Pencak Silat, and Sanda.
Shunran- Shaolin Kung Fu, Wushu, Baguazhang, Northern Praying Mantis, Wing Chun, Capoeira, and Changquan.
There you have it, ladies, gentlemen, and martial arts aficionados of all ages, the martial arts I believe each member of The Splendid Seven would specialise.
