H1Z1 King of the Kill Crate Investing Guide
I've compiled data to aid in the selection of crates for H1Z1 King of the Kill. This post is for investing in crates. Links are provided for KotK items inside each crate with current price, but no recommendation will be given for individual items.
Considerations
On 02/05/2016 during Steam Early Access, H1z1 split into two games; Just Survive(survival) & King of the Kill (battle royale). Inventories from anyone who purchased the game previous to that date were duplicated for each game. Both games are still actively being developed and provide the same investment opportunities. Its important to note the differences in current prices on the Steam Community Market. Just Survive's most valuable crate is priced at $0.35 USD versus KotK's at $10.00 USD. A second factor is KotK's crates being heavily traded making them continually appear on the Community Market home page and also increasing the games items exposure. Third and last are the games popularity differences. King of the Kill's player base continues to rise and has seen little to no effect from PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds increasing popularity. Just Survive on the other hand is a different type of game, and receives 4-8 thousand players max per 24 hour period.
