The current Market Cap of FaceBook is $435 Billion while the current Market cap for Steemit is $200 million which is a ratio of 2,175 to 1
If Steemit's Market Cap were to reach just 10% of FaceBook the price of 1 Steem would be around $18.60 , a 20 times increase from it's current price.
So while your friends might still be buying facebook stock and may even be trying to get you to invest in it or google alphabet, You can rest easy knowing that as censorship increases and demonetization of content providers spreads, more users of social media who have valuable content to author and publish will move on mass to this new platform which you will already own a stake in.
