Do You Employ The Rich Man´s Strategy?

in investing •  7 years ago  (edited)

People are not born rich (except if you inherit it : born with a silver spoon in your mouth) however most people are successful because they have a different attitude to doing things than unsuccessful people- there is also luck in it isn’t it?
Here are some few points:

Pic source

Long term vs Short term thinking: The rich think long term and not short sighted like most common folks who want to enjoy everything today without a clear strategy for the future. One example is steem power which is a long term wealth creation strategy. Moreover long term holders of top cryptos are all smiles now while those who sold off their bitcoin when it was 1 USD are wondering what went wrong- see my former post for details .

Long Term Value Creation: The rich invest in passive income opportunities, and use the gains to search for new ones and reinvest thus a great source of constant return on investments (ROI) .This relates to powering up constantly and thus earning passive interest income on steemit.

Sleeping beauties: This refer to undervalued coins / tokens which can lead to jackpot . Remember that some people invested heavily in bitcoin when it was still undervalued. This is a great rich man´s strategy : looking for sleeping beauties, investing and holding long term. One good example is Ethereum Lyte (elyte) which is new and has a max supply of 1M and far less circulation supply, solid website / white paper see https://www.elyte.biz/ solid team (visible profiles) , solid / realistic projects - so join the next best thing and be an early adopter . Remember those who joined Bitcoin community and invested at its infancy are all smiles now-this will create wealth for you.

Understand and Acknowledge weakness: Most successful people do work on their weaknesses in order to improve on it. This can be done through continuous education or even hiring a top consultant . Moreover, for a job they cant do inhouse, they tend to go with outsourcing .

Hardworking: have you seen any successful person that is lazy or complain of having no time because of family or work issues? In fact, most work very hard for their success without giving a reason or constant complaining about irrelevant issues or blaming others for their mistakes.

Great post,

One thing that stands out to me is being in the rich man's mind set. If you don't see yourself as someone who will ever be wealthy then you never will be. When you already see yourself as valuable you're much more likely to either pick up the habits that will bring you wealth like some of the ones you listed, or to find a way to effectively bring your value to other people, the rewards will follow from there.

Now, time to go find some sleeping beauties, I have some catching up to do in the crypto world

You analysed it well, upped. Good point indeed.

It's so hard to pick the next sleeping giant (relating to crypto) sometimes I feel like it's just gambling with the level of volatility.

Good point, however it is not so hard if you open your eyes (Lol) see my former posts for details. Yes there is certainly some risk in it however- no risk, no gain isnt it?

Another great post and yes hard work always pays off!

Thanks my dear one...you are indeed a hardworking lady!!! hence your success.

Great points! The only thing to having a rich man's mindset is that you may have to lose a few morals, or at least bend them so that you can allow the rich man's mindset to grow. :\ I wish that could be different.

Anyways, keep up the good work!

Good point, however not all successful people bend their morals
