I have said many times that I think that Steemit is a great writing platform. And I have throughly enjoyed the opportunity to meet new people.

But my journey has been filled with challenges (just like many of you). My road has not always been easy.

But still I am committed to Steemit. Here's proof!

1. I write comments and replies everyday.

This is an important commitment for me. I want to make sure that I am reaching out to new people, and more importantly engaging the people who are reaching out to me.

Comments and replies are the best way to develop followers, and followers are the backbone of a great Steemit blog (and our community for that matter).

2. I write new articles at least 3-5 times per week.

It is hard sometimes to write new articles. But I have made a commitment to write even when I do not feel like writing.

It is really difficult to have a relevant and engaging Steemit blog if there is not content.

I realize that I am a growing writer. I still make mistakes (a lot of them), but I am committed to the personal growth of my writing skills and the opportunity I have to make a difference in other peoples lives.

3. I invest outside funds into Steemit.

I am putting some skin in the game. I am earning some money from my blog posts (granted, not enough to support my family), but I want to me invested in the system.

Just yesterday, I transferred more funds to buy Steem. When someone has not taken on any of the risk but wants all of the reward, they become alienated members of the community.

I do not want that to happened to me. I want to be invested, both with my time and financial resources.

So yes, I really am committed to Steemit. And as a part of your community, I want to serve you.
