Economic Indicators In The Crypto-economy - Volume 4 - Keep an eye on the clock

in investment •  7 years ago

Coming from a background of trading Fiats, commodities, and stocks, I am well aware of the importance of using "economic indicators" as a tool to develop a successful investment strategy. Those who know me personally will know that I am not great with computers (massively understated, I suck). In my opinion, a knowledge of programming, coding, graphic design etc, will help with investing in the crypto-economy. BUT an understanding of "real world" economic principles and proven trading techniques will win in the long term. If you are fortunate enough to have both you should do very well in this space, in coming years.

By applying "real world" investment techniques to the digital economy I have been doing well, and am now exclusively focusing my investments research in the area of the crypto-economy. I will continue to release the indicators I am developing for the digital economy, and let you know of any buy opportunities I see (when I am not bodyboarding that is, BWA represent).

Before you buy any coin, you should look to see where the money is coming from (refer to Volume 2 below - Trade Volumes).

I look to Korea for my lead on Bitcoin, China for Antshares, etc. Finding dips (retracements, sell off's) that have occurred "overnight" (relative to where the money is coming from), can be a good tradinging strategy. If a Chinese investor "wakes up" and sees Antshares down, he or she may have incentive to buy...... or at least the smart ones.

NB: Always remember buy low, sell high. FOMO will cost you money. If you missed it you missed it, there is always another day and another opportunity. And trust your research. NEVER join in a panic sell unless your information has changed.

I encourage you all to make your own investment decisions and not just follow me blindly. I do not have a crystal ball, and am just trying to share some techniques that have served me well in this space.

Stay stoked, keep frothing, and always remember.... an informed investor is a succesful investor.
