I've been attempting this thought experiment lately and I'm drawing a blank. A similar dilemma is what to invest in during a period of deflation? Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks.

    If I knew the human population was declining and had to invest?
    My first thought would be Recycling business!

    Interesting answer! Makes sense that recycling will slowly displace mining for raw materials.
