I don't completely agree with you, according to me Monero(XMR) is booming and is having a greater potential than ethereum. You didn't state a reason why ethereum might be 1000 times its value.
Monero mining cannot be done using ASICs which is really a big advantage for Low spec PC user. This has become an option for people with low hashrates to mine Cryptocurrency.

    But... you also didn't state a reason why Monero (a recent privacy hype) has greater potential than ETH. # transactions? Adoption rate, developer pool, and overall utility better right now and in the future? I'm very curious as to your logic if I'm missing something big.
