“IONChain is a non-profit foundation, founded in Singapore in early 2018”. The name IONChain “has its origin from the Swedish physicist Arrhenius’s theory of ionization”. Basically, I think “IONChain is the ecosystem that will unify smart device technology and enable them to truly become a part of our everyday lives!. IONChain will make the communication parameters of all devices over the IoT Network the same, regardless of device used! By standardizing the way data is interpreted, it will allow them to implement their vision - “One Device, One Coin, One Code”.

“The Internet of Things, or IoT, refers to the billions of physical devices around the world that are now connected to the internet, collecting and sharing data. This adds a level of digital intelligence to devices that would be otherwise dumb, enabling them to communicate without a human being involved, and merging the digital and physical worlds”.

How Will Ionchain Impact The Iot Industry?

The team at IONChain believes that the IoT industry is vulnerable to “Lack of security and appropriate privacy protection” which are mainly the two most serious concerns facing the future of the IoT industry.
“IONChain seeks to strengthen this industry, focusing on improving some points such as:
• data security
• data circulation
• share data
• data transactions”.
Since “Users are not able to control the private data they submit to the system and servers remain centralized targets for hacks and fraud”. The only solutions to these two aforementioned problems of the IoT industry are basically what. IONChain has being created to solve. “IONChain is the decentralized solution to these problems, increasing security and the ability to integrate to devices globally” and amidst all these.

How Can The Ionchain Ecosystem Improve The Way Smart Devices Are Used And Communicate With Each Other?

I think IONChain ecosystem will improve the way smart devices are used and communicate with each other in various ways. Unlike current smart devices where each smart device posses a unique communication signal that makes it impossible for another smart device to easily be accessed by another smart device and this has created challenges amidst its numerous advantages in data communication, information sharing and easy of accessibility. But, with the help of IONChain smart devices can follow a single communication dAPPs technology, although from different manufacturers to help facilitate the optimization of different smart devices” allowing devices to be unique, secure and standardized’’ improving the use and share of information from different smart devices on the IONChain ecosystem”.

What Is The Implication Of Combining Edge Computing With Blockchain Technology?

“Edge computing is the practice of processing data near the edge of your network, where the data is being generated, instead of in a centralized data-processing warehouse.” This means that the device itself processes the data, instead of sending it to a data center to be processed”.
IONChain being a platform built on combining Edge Computing with blockchain technology allows for more fluid use since data can be created in a smart device and then in a red blockchain. “Some of the lighter data processing can be done on local devices, while large computing tasks that are more resource intensive are processed on the Cloud”.

How Will Having A True Iot Economy Allow It To Grow And Hasten The Process Of Mass Adoption?

IONChain is the ecosystem that will unify smart device technology and enable them to truly become a part of our everyday lives!. “IONChain has already partnered with several large IoT producers and aims to unify these manufacturers by incentivizing them to use the protocol by creating revenue in the IONChain ecosystem”.
“The more manufacturers implement the IONChain protocol in their devices, the more possibilities there are for automatizing their operation in relation to each other through dAPPs”. More so, IONChain users are also incentivized to use IONChain Connected devices over traditional smart devices by the reward distributed to them in exchange for data mining.

“The vision of the IONChain is to help break the barrier of communication between different type of devices and allow them to work together by using a universal standard”. The impact of "One device, One code, One coin"? will enable each smart device on its IoT network to become a miner. “The IONCchain system will accurately calculate the precise rewards from the functions [such as], data volume, time, space, and etc.” allowing devices to be unique, secure and standardized. This will be coupled with IONChain's software in the form of: data-conversion, data processing, data packaging tools, and nodes for their IoT backbone”.

Why Is It Important To Have A Global Standard Where Dapps Can Be Developed Once To Work With All Ionchain Implemented Devices?

dAPPs is a decentralized applications developed for the exchange of information and data automatically. “All IONChain Connected devices can be programmed to execute actions dependant on the data received from other IONChain Connected devices. Smart devices that uses IONChain can be applied with multiple devices and protocol in diverse IoT devices from different manufacturers and industries a plethora of dAPPs can be built to help facilitate the optimization of these devices”.

Using IONChain James could be able to connect his automated wheelchair to an IoT industry that allows James automated wheelchair to located James anytime and anywhere his house whenever James gets down from his car or from his bed.
