Ionomy delisted. I regret ever getting involved with these jagoffs

in ionomy •  9 months ago

Well this is the first time I have been duped by an exchange. I think they probably started out with good intentions and the only reason why I ever got involved with them in the first place was because of the fact that they were one of the few exchanges that would trade with some of the minor coins that I have.

I've been having serious issues with withdrawals from them and thus far, the only way I can figure out how to game the broken system is to convert things to ETH then withdraw in small amounts, or to withdraw less than $500 worth so they can rape you with the $50 per withdrawal fee.

There might have been a time when Ionomy was attempting to be a legitimate exchange but that time is not now. They simply no longer respond to emails and according to multiple respected outlets, they have been delisted because of suspected fraud.

I think we are well past the suspected fraud at this point and if you have any real amount of money trapped in there I feel sorry for you because best of luck ever getting it out. They are based out of Seychelles and hopefully someone can track them down and make them pay the price for what they have done.

I currently have 0.6 ETH trapped in there and I logged in today to see if I was willing to have another go at attempting, probably in vain, to withdraw some of my very limited funds from there and was greeted by this.

I think you can say that an exchange truly no longer gives a shit when their internal computing can't even do simple computations anymore. I really wish that .66 ETH was worth over $200,000 but then again, it would be trapped inside of Ionomy so I would likely never see any of it.

Screw these guys man. Just an awful company and I am happy I never really had much to do with them.

hmmm .... they seem to be working OK for me .... but I only ever send small amounts ...like $10 or less.

where have you withdrawn to? Just to here?

Yep.

not to pry too much but what sort of volume are we talking about? There are people I know that will do a transaction of 10 Steem and that goes through but then immediately after they will try to do something larger, like 50 or more and it just stalls and never goes through. I have attempted to withdraw a couple hundred dollars worth of both ETH and BTC to a self-custodial wallet and 3 transactions total just hang forever and never go through. One of them has been in "processing" since December of last year.

No response from admins on any of these cases

I really only send 2 or 3 Steem or Hive a day to ionomy …., convert to Bitcoin on the dips , then use the Bitcoin to buy Blurt and then send to Blurt.blog no problem. I send the Blurt to Hive-Engine.com … ..and convert to Bitcoin or Litecoin and send to Coinbase … but I can buy small amounts low, sell high, and earn an extra 100% a month.
