I came across this incredible article today that is really a glimpse of the future. This revolutionary piece of technology that Sirin Labs is promising looks like the direction all smartphones and mobile services will go in the future.

"According to Sirin, all Finney devices ... — named in honor of bitcoin pioneer Hal Finney — ... will form an independent blockchain network powered by IOTA’s Tangle technology. The network will operate without centralized backbones or mining centers cluttering up the transaction process, using the SRN token as its default currency ... And it’ll all run on a Sirin operating system specially designed to support blockchain applications such as crypto wallets and secure exchange access."

Everything about this looks like the holy grail of crypto technology, and promises to overcome many of the key challenges still keeping crypto from mass adoption all in one go. The fact that it will run on IOTA's Tangle could truly be the game changer though.

As IOTA's technology is designed to operate efficiently only at scale, and actually works better and faster the more it's used, this dovetailing with the machine economy in the form of smartphones could truly launch a realistic payment network capable of scaling and securing itself in a fully decentralised manner, through millions, or even billions of machines.

If this could reach escape velocity there will be absolutely no stopping it.

Well this is a hole new level, when that phone will be out , crypto will rise higher than ever.

Everyone stays all day with the phone in their hand so is the best mode to rise it :D

Definitely. Even if it's not that exact phone, it's a first step. I'm sure that soon every phone will have these features as standard. The most exciting part for me is the integration with IOTA, and the potential that their technology could turn millions of cell phones into IOTA nodes. That would be total decentralisation!

I think it will happen faster than we think, because on how techonolgy and us evolve these daya, anything can happen :)

Thank you @ adamantine
