I got myself an iPhone 7 Plus mainly for the great new features of the new camera. I have been testing the camera out whilst I was on the roof top of my condo and here are some of the photos I took.
The key reason I bought the iPhone 7 Plus is to use the two camera systems. It has a great feature called Portrait mode, which simulates a shallow depth of field, such as a powerful DSLR.
With a 56mm lens, the 28mm lens can be used to create depth-of-field. Using the slight difference between 56 mm and 25 mm, the smartphone will divide the layers of images into sections. With the learning technique, the machine uses blurry images that mimic the shallow depth of field.
Telephoto lenses are truly captivating. While doing so, wide angle lenses interfere with capturing information about the distance of the object, which is used to create a nine-layer depth map.
