I just used an iPhone 6 from a friend and hated the pixels I was seeing.... I always thought I would not miss a 2.7k screen as the pixels are so dense that the eye should not see really a difference... but after using for years an Android phone with QHD I noticed how used I am to that level of quality....
So I checked the iPhone 8 specs....1334 x 750 pixels??? I mean I can get that kind of resolution from a phone for 60 USD these days... And Apple can still sell this for 800 USD??

They can do that because of the loyalty of their customers... if you want iOs you have to get the iPhone... if you want Android you can choose between a 50 USD model and a 1500 USD model... so the expensive ones have to offer more than the 50 USD models which have already at least HD.
