Japanese developer Kazuya Noshiro created a special filter for the iPhone X, which makes the face invisible, masking it under the nearby objects.
It’s amazing how good the facial recognition and tracking on the iPhone X is. Image recognition has really taken huge leaps forward in the past couple of years. I believe there's something similar on the Macs also.
I would like to see how it performs while the camera is moving too. That would be the real test. If it doesn’t work then the programmer did nothing new (he just highlighted iOS’s face tracking abilities).
